Using So You’d Like To….Guides to Promote Your Book

Amazon has a tool that lets readers publish articles that help others - they call them 'So You’d Like To….Guides'

Post articles to this section that relate to the topic of your book[s]. Include a list of books that will help the reader. This also posts the guide to all the book pages.

Never, ever pitch your book. You can refer to it in the article and/or include it in the helpful book list, but don’t try to sell it. If you do, you smash your credibility in an instance. For instance, you could say….when I was researching my book The Logical Organization, I came across……

In this way you are merely establishing the context from which your suggestions have been put together, and that just happens to use your book title.
