Not all website links are equal - that's a basic understanding that most internet marketers grasp. One way inbound links from high ranking sites are far more powerful than two way reciprocal links to low ranking sites.

So how else can you boost the power of each link you have pointing at your web pages?

This Link Boosting Tactic will work on ANY link you have pointing at your sites!

Each time you receive a good quality TEXT LINK on a web page that is permanent, such as from a blog, you should promote the URL linking to you with text links on different domains.

What this does, is build up the page ranking of the URL linking to you. As their ranking builds, so too does the page on YOUR site it is linking to.

As that page ranking builds, all other pages on your site the are linked to from that page, also increase in page ranking.

By linking to the URL of the the incoming link, you are showing Google that the page linking to you is an important page.

This can easily be done if you have more than one domain (ideally on a different host or server) OR you can also use free hosted blogs, free hosted web sites, social bookmarking sites and Squidoo.com lense pages.

The more links pointing at the page that has links pointing to your web pages the better!!!

Rememver - the links MUST BE ONE WAY - so DO NOT link to the blog URL from the same domain that it points at, otherwise, you are simply creating a reciprocal link, and we know that these are not the best links to have.
